Satpol PP Deployed to Help Anticipate PKL in CNI Kembangan Area

The Jakarta Public Order Security Agency (Satpol PP) has deployed 20 personnel ti maintain public order in the CNI Kembangan area, Kembangan Selatan Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district.

We don't want this area to be chaotic

West Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Agus Irwanto expressed his personnel in CNI Kembangan area is a routine activity during Ramadan. It was aimed at maintaining public order on the streets in the area from the presence of street vendors (PKL) who peddled their wares using carts and spread tarpaulins on the sidewalks.

"We don't want this area to be chaotic," he expressed, Tuesday (3/19).

Satpol PP Carries Out PSBB Monitoring at CNI Kembangan

According to him, there was already a location provided for street vendors, namely near the CNI Building. The security carried out by his personnel prioritized persuasive and humanist methods. If street vendors were found selling out of place, they would be evicted.

"This is done for 24 hours," he stressed.

The action above received positive response from a Security Officer of the CNI Area, Herman Untung (41).

"By so, the CNI area still looks neat and orderly," he said.
